Dual Engine Architecture
The AL-1 hosts two unique limiting engines. Engine 1 limits through three unique digital algorithms that react to musical context. Engine 2 limits through a bespoke analog circuit we created digitally utilizing our new physics based modeling technology. Two engines to cover all your limiting needs.
Zero Look-Ahead Design
The AL-1 abandons traditional look-ahead limiting in favor of our proprietary design. Rather than predicting peaks, the AL-1 keeps their shape intact while delivering real gain reduction. Experience more weight and articulation, a truer form of your material.
Non-Brickwall Limiting
The AL-1 avoids a clipping or wave-shaping stage typically used to force a hard ceiling, resulting in a more natural and open sound — preserving dynamics, detail, and dimension. When your delivery needs a hard ceiling, a secondary dedicated true peak limiter handles it, so the sound you dialed stays true.

Engines.

True Peak.
True Peak limiting in the AL-1 is a second limiter of its own, dedicated to catching True Peak overs. It runs after the main limiting with a single job, so the character you dialed in stays where you set it.
Linking.
The AL-1's correlation-based stereo linking keeps the center defined without sacrificing your image. Maintain dimension, impact, and emotional connection.
Optimizer.
The AL-1's optimizer section allows for a musical lift to low level content with upwards compression and intelligent release based makeup – adding loudness without coloration.
Metering.
Professional-grade metering at your fingertips. Precisely monitor your output with LUFS, VU, and Peak meters — giving you the insight needed to meet loudness standards and maintain dynamic integrity.
